With Central Park’s iconic Wollman Ice Rink and Bryant Park’s Winter Village Ice Rink both returning before we know it, you know what that means–the holiday season is quickly approaching.
And this year New Yorkers can spend their holiday season at a brand new ice rink!
Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park is set to debut this fall, bringing ice skating to Brooklyn Bridge Park for the first time!
The rink, positioned underneath the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, will feature stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. And, of course, food and beverage options will be available to those who skate up an appetite.
Located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in the historic DUMBO neighborhood, Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park will be open to the public November 15th through March 1st.
Skate sessions are 50 minutes long and begin at 10 a.m. The last skate session begins at 8:55 p.m.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 6th, beginning at $9 off-peak for NYC residents. Peak tickets cost $10 for children and $13.50 for adults. Skate rentals, locks for lockers, and skate aids are also available and cost $12, $5, and $15, respectively.
Thousands of free tickets will also be available to local residents throughout the season.
