Besides its expansive holiday market and iconic ice rink, the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is bringing back last year’s beloved winter-friendly activity: curling (open Nov. 16)!
It’s the first-ever iceless curling experience, so it can be enjoyed no matter what the weather.
Each reservation at the aptly named Curling Café — where two teams of up to 4 people each can experience “street” or iceless curling for 90 minutes — includes a dedicated curling lane plus a bubble igloo tent with food and drinks. And it’s the perfect cozy, comforting options too!
For the adult package: nosh on a la carte alcoholic beverages and a cheese board with crackers and fruit. For the family package: enjoy a carafe of hot chocolate, chicken tenders and fries OR mac and cheese and fries.
As for safety, all gaming equipment and tents are sanitized between each and every booking. The Curling Café is open 3:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, and is located on the Bryant Park Café deck, on the north side of the park along 42nd St behind the New York Public Library.
Also returning this year are the Cozy Igloos (open Nov. 10). These are located between the Skating Pavilion and the Tree, in the SE corner of The Rink Deck, with amazing views of the Winter Village in all its holiday glory. Enjoy drinks from hot chocolate to apple cider, in addition to gourmet popcorn and more in a cozy, festive setting. These are open Monday through Friday from noon to 9:30 p.m. and from 11:30 a.m to 11 p.m. on weekends.
